Subwoofers have special signal cabling requirements. Unlike most audio components that are closely clustered together, subwoofers need to be positioned optimally in a room to be able to bring their benefits. This positioning usually requires a longer cable run than most other electronics. In addition subwoofers reproduce a range of signals that are close to power line frequencies increasing their sensitivity to noise and interference. To deal with this we constructed the subwoofer cable with a tightly twisted, interleaved conductor arrangement to reduce its sensitivity to the power line magnetic fields from power cords and power transformers with a low loss, low capacitance insulator to get the most signal through to the subwoofer and use a substantial double shield in the jacketing to conduct electrostatic hum fields from power lines away from the sensitive signal conductors.
KEY FEATURES:
- High-Conductivity Oxygen Free Copper for a more enhanced signal transfer.
- QUAD-BASS Wire construction for a deeper, more intense bass.
- Tri-level shielding for maximum possible protection against non-bass High and Mid-Frequency interference.
- STATiGON™ soft, flexible Static-Dissipative outer extrusion allows built up static charge in the immediate environment to disperse across the length of the cable to prevent signal contamination.
- 24k Gold-plated Connectors to 3 micro-inches with high contact pressure connector for maximum conductivity.
- High-Quality HDPE dielectrics for more accurate signal rise and fall time.
- Silver Content Solder to ensure high-conductive termination with minimal signal degradation.
- RoHS-Compliant.
