Industrial design
As a firm mean to achieve constant quality and reliability, ART & TECHNOLOGIE relies on industrial partners mainly from Midi-Pyrenees in the southwest of France, well known for its electronic and aero spatial expertise (Aircraft manufacturer Airbus headquarters...). These subcontractors have been chosen with great care, regarding their degree of seriousness and skill to insure a stable production of great quality.

ART & TECHNOLOGY SOUND
The whole Art & Technologie range share some recognizable sound signature, which would be defined in one word as extreme “naturalness” if we may say.

In more words, Art & Technologie electronics reproduce “what they hear” with evident fidelity, as the word was first introduced when defining hi-fi. They are homogeneous and strive towards all directions simultaneously. There is no liar, there is no sugar-like smoothness, and there is no harshness or coldness. Sure, we use solid-state transistors on their strongest points, and vacuum-tubes/valves where they are at their best. Combining their qualities was a true challenge, which required many years and a progressive maturation on both technologies, and in design. But technology is only the medium, and an immense effort was given to have this forgotten. Never mind what’s inside. We’re here for listening pleasure… Aren’t we ?

Try every style of music. Jazz, Classical, pop, metal, folk, choral, rock are mastered with deep respect to the original characteristics. Even punk sounds punk!

From the REFERENCE to the ABSOLUTE range, our products are pure enablers. Airy, fruity, carnal, deep, vivid, dynamic, accurate, perfectly toned are adjective we frequently hear, regarding our products.

At last, thanks to its mastered designs, the quality of its components (including hand-picked transistor and tubes pairs for instance), you do not need high volumes to lure the ears and fully enjoy dynamics, as much the low and high partitions of the recordings. Even a “reading level” provides a deep involvement into the reproduced music.

Of course, as in live experience, some prefer to be close and play it loud. So go ahead, and we’ll be there too. This is here too a matter of choice, not of restrictions. You’re home, so do as you please. Just switch us on, and let it go.
