Years of intense work were necessary to achieve this. The Single-ended design was quickly chosen, and was seconded with all fool options to feed its thirst for substance & power, bandwidth, transparency and micro-dynamics! Dozens of tubes were tested. Transistors and tubes challenged each other on every part of the circuitry to participate to the most fidel sound.

While the Absolute starts initially from the Prestige push-pull range, the no-compromise path was intensively led to its absolute meaning. The chassis grew bigger, heavier, the ergonomics got closer to the listener (just touch the inner logo to switch on and off the LED; which goes red while on stand-by), the damping went stronger (both on output and internally and on rolling feet). A quick look on the beast and its 3cm thick bi-chromatic pure aluminium frontplate evidently speaks from itself. The boy has character, the boy has talent!

Sound

The Absolute is not humble. It cannot be. Its name sums-up its qualities. Its sound. Just switch on, and it’s instantly obvious. Even without the recommended warm-up. You may retain tears. You may never believe it. Obviously, the best new components along with raw materials and damn-old-good design paradigms will always rule!

Next to Prestige range, ART & TECHNOLOGIE is proud to present its brand new electronic product, the Absolute single-ended mono amplifier.

It is based on the similar design, but on a different approach. A purist one. All best of the best designs, materials and components have been brought together for this breath-taking project. The Absolute mono amplifier is operating in "Single-Ended" with no global feedback. Its core amplification circuitry is made on a dedicated PTFE (Teflon) board; shields are used where strictly necessary, Mundorf high-end capacitors bring their know-how to the masterpiece, raw power tracks and Tantalum resistors do their duty as no other one will do. The MOS output solid-state transistors allow to have unique and absolute real tones & color (and not only realistic ones). Here, the non-compromise paradigm was brought to an impressive notion. ART & TECHNOLOGIE designed there its ABSOLUTE FLAGSHIP.

While the Prestige range accomplishes miracles in a push-pull design, the Absolute seems to start where its companion ends. It consequently shows all outstanding qualities of the push-pull, while going still further in all dimensions. Larger, deeper soundstage, dynamics, substance, deep basses and smooth airy highs.

The Prestige or Absolute Preamplifier remote control will toggle the mono amplifier in normal or stand-by, to allow an immediate access to its highest level of musicality, without any warm-up time as required at first power-on (4 hours).
